He serves on the Board of Councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Dr. Gill is a Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery He has served in a number of offices for the Southern Orthopaedic Association including President in 1991-1992 He is presently the Secretary of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Dr. Gill holds the office of President in the Orthopaedic Foot Club		He has served on the Board of Trustees and as a Member at Large of the Eastern Orthopaedic Association Dr. Gill is presently Board of Councilors Delegate to AAOS He presently serves on the Membership Committee of the Society of Arthritic Joint Surgeons Dr. Gill is on the Publications Committee for the Clinical Orthopaedic Society He is a member of the LeRoy C.
